As a nonprofit community development corporation, our mission is to help ensure the success of new and established businesses in the Greater Watts and South Los Angeles community. By developing business literacy, we can help build economic resiliency, contributing to a revitalized and vibrant community. HOW WE CAN HELP
We provide resources for individuals aspiring to become entrepreneurs, as well as for early stage and established business owners. Our Technical Assistance program includes workshops and one-on-one business coaching from a network of reputable pro bono advisors, helps business owners strengthen business basics, identify opportunities, resolve problems, and make important decisions. This program, as well as our financial services, are an important component of our overall goal to build sustainable businesses and promote economic development in the Greater Watts area. Business owners enrolled in the Technical Assistance program have access to free one-on-one coaching on specific topics with business leaders in their fields. Some of the advisories covered include branding, social media, operations, sourcing, and manufacturing.
