Recently, Macedonia Community Development Corporation (“MCDC”), The California Coalition for Community Investment, and several Community Development Financial Institutions (“CDFI’s”) from across Los Angeles County hosted Senator Laura Richardson who represents California's 35th Senate District.  Attendees discussed the impact and importance CDFI’s are having in the micro and small business ecosystem. This meeting was held at The Level Up Store, a MCDC client, in Inglewood, California, which is located in Senator Richardson’s 35th senate district.  

Senator Richardson is Chair, Senate Budget Subcommittee, Member of Appropriations, and Member of Banking and Financial Institutions.
